Jogging down the back road in Pride, Louisiana, Ben is stunned when he
realizes his neighbor's house is on fire. Rushing in he rescues
the woman, only to realize a child is in there as well. Barely
escaping with the child and his life intact, Ben becomes Stephanie's
hero.
Stephanie, however doesn't trust men. Her husband up and left
her when their daughter was three. Her daughter is now five and
she will do anything to protect them from ending back up in that
situation.
Can she teach Ben about God while learning that all men aren't like
her ex-husband? And can she accept that sometimes God sends
someone just at the right time for reasons that she might not see?

I really enjoyed this book. Katie's announcement at breakfast
that Ben has been saved, Stephanie thanking God for her and Katie's
rescue, and Ben opening his heart to God make this book worth reading.
The story is very heartwarming with the faith and love the people have
for each other and God.

What an incredible, spiritual journey for readers as we watch Ben grow in
his own beliefs and come to know God through the bible and two
very special people. I treasured Stephanie's thoughts, her
belief in God's love, and her strength to only commit to a
relationship based on a love of Christ. Ben's charm and
sense of humor were a delight as well as five year old Katie's
innocence and antics. What a heartfelt story as all three overcome their
personal fears by trusting in God and ultimately finding love.
